Stuart Karten to Mentor in Cedars-Sinai, TechStars Healthcare Accelerator
We’re thrilled to announce that Stuart Karten has been selected as a mentor in the Techstars Healthcare Accelerator, a new digital health-focused accelerator in partnership with Cedars-Sinai.
Launched on March 28th, the program will help expedite 11 healthcare startups’ transformative technologies into reality by providing them with mentorship, guidance, and resources—including a $120,000 investment—over the course of three short months. During this period, each of the participants has full access to Cedars-Sinai’s world-class clinicians and facilities, as well as Techstars’ network of over 7,000 successful entrepreneurs, investors, and partners. The program leads up to a Demo Day pitch event in June.
Stuart Karten will be working directly with the class of 11 promising companies, offering his expertise in product development and user experience design to help them create market-ready solutions that transform healthcare delivery.
From a virtual reality platform that aims to treat acute pain and anxiety to a digital marketplace where patients can “name their own price” on standardized health services, each of the startups is tackling significant healthcare challenges in unique ways.
